Award-winning musician Stonebwoy has stated that his hidden skill is comedy.
The reggae/dancehall performer revealed this during an interview with VIBE 105FM in Canada.
During the interview, Stonebwoy said that he has tried to live as openly and honestly as possible.
He continued by saying that his supporters and admirers are aware of practically everything he does and can do in terms of art and public life.
I think they know that I can act, they know that I can sing, they know that I am benevolent, they know I’ve got a charity. My life is just for the people.”
Asked by the host “Do you have a hidden talent?”, Stonebwoy made the revelation for the first time that his hidden talent is comedy.
“Okay maybe comedy. Yes comedy. That is the hidden talent. That’s it, comedy, yeah”
He went on to affirm a question on whether he will one day embark on a Stand-up comedy tour by indicating he’s open to it. “I don’t know but I can try.”, he said.
Stonebwoy continued, “My friend Payday of R2Bees fame, who is also a Ghanaian musician, has always been telling me to add comedy to my craft.”
“One of my friends from R2Bees Payday, he always says that ‘You should add comedy to your thing”. And he means it. The last time I spoke to him he was like, Naaa for real. Because anytime I call him, when he sees my name, he begins to laugh. And I’ve not even said anything yet.”
Stonebwoy is on a tour in Canada to promote his 5TH DIMENSION album.
